Special Form - Same as Basic with some additional coverage for the property insured at the time.
Loss of Use - When the Residence Premises is uninhabitable there is coverage called additional Living Expense that is listed in the policy, meaning any necessary increase in living expenses you incur so that your household can maintain its normal standard of living.
Comprehensive (comp)- This is damage by wind/hail,Theft,Vandalism,and damage by upset,and hitting an animal (like a deer).
Collision - Colliding with any object,vehicle,or anything stationary.
UM/UIM- Uninsured Motorist/Under Insured Motorist. (Always make sure you have this coverage since there are so many people who will only carry a state minimum limit or are a new young driver.)
Gap Insurance (also referred to as Loan/Lease Coverage).
This covers your home, and up to 2 cars with additional Liability coverage. Usually 1,000,000 up to 5,000,000 depending on the coverage requested and you can cover boats and additional vehicles for more coverage and more premium.
This is coverage given to your spouse and kids in the event there is a death. ( We call this money for future delivery). Life Insurance is usually figured at 5 - 8 times your annual income that needs to be replaced.
